ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Modelling Consultant to play a pivotal role in our consulting projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis and modelling, with an appreciation of the agribusiness sector. As a Financial Modelling Expert, you will be responsible for developing sophisticated financial models, conducting in-depth financial analysis, and providing actionable insights to our clients. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive solutions that drive financial success for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing and maintaining complex financial models to assess the financial performance, profitability, and feasibility of agribusiness projects and investments.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams including consultants from Agri Frontier’s Consulting and Growth Hub divisions to deliver integrated solutions for clients.
• Analysing large datasets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
• Conducting scenario analysis and sensitivity testing to assess the impact of various variables on financial outcomes, allowing clients to make informed decisions.
• Collaborating closely with clients to understand their specific financial needs, provide expert advice, and present findings in a clear and concise manner.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and market dynamics in the agribusiness sector to provide valuable insights to clients.
• Preparing comprehensive reports and presentations that communicate financial analysis results and recommendations effectively to clients and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate should have the following attributes:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree would be an added advantage).
• Proven experience (5+ years) in financial modelling and analysis.
• Strong proficiency in financial modelling software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, other financial modelling software).
• Exceptional quantitative and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced consulting environment.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of agribusiness and agricultural economics would be a plus.
